LOCATION
The Hyatt Regency is in the centre of Kota Kinabalu's shopping, banking and entertainment district. The hotel is approximately 15minutes drive from the airport. This is the most centra international hotel in Kota Kinabalu

The rooms are large in size in have recently undergone a full renovation. Style is modern and in keeping with Hyatt hotels worldwide. The furnishings are very comfortable and seaview rooms provide an excellent sunset. Baths are also large with

RESTAURANT
There are three main restaurants, including Japanese, Chinese and international, there is also BBQ food by the pool side. The Shenanigan's fun pub is worth a mention as it is one of the more popular night spots in the city, with good entertainment.
EXTERIOR
Although built in the 80's. the hotel has undergone a total renovation inside and out. A tall block design that dominates the waterfront. It is cream colored with hints of traditional malay architecture in the design, especially the roof.

The lobby is large size with marble floor and scattered wood panelling, it has a modern feel with seating around the check in couters. The lobby opens out further in into the lobby atrium where there is a cafe and dining area. The atrium also serves
